Visa processing time

I've signed a contract with EdEx and I'm waiting for them to process/send me my visa. The latest update I got from my agent was that they are in the process of applying for my visa in KSA. Does anyone know roughly how long this process takes over there??

It depends on a lot of factors !
Power of your sponsor, Do they need you quickly?, your position....

My employer told me that I can get my work permit only in June 2014, as they gonna apply it in April 2014. Why April? Because they can apply only once in a year. Does anyone can confirm that the companies apply new employees for iqama only once in a year to the ministry of labor?
