Hi hello i have some few question regarding filing a nullity of my partner. He was married back in the Phils. They've been separated since 2006 until now. He hasnt been back since but still supporting them because of his kids living with his ex wife. Now we want to get married but because he was married back home he needs to file a nullity. As what i've heard filing a nullity of married is time consuming and cost a lot of money. We want to get married soon. Is there anyone who tell us how to do it quicker?

Hi joegle,

Welcome to Expat-Blog :)

I have created a new thread as from your post on the Philippines Forum for better interaction :)

Have you tried to get an appointment with a lawyer or solicitor please ?

Hope you get some positive feedback soon :)

Thank you

Hi! Nullity of Marriage cases range can take from 7 months to one year assuming that the spouse does not contest the case. If the other spouse wishes to fight it out in court then it can take up to 20 years. I work on uncontested nullity of marriage cases. You can message me directly for details
