How does one get to the airport to catch a 06.20 flight if the buses only start running at 06.00 and arrive at the airport at 06.55?? And get home when the flight lands at 23.30 but the buses stop running at 22.50??
Too early and too late to ask friends to help out.
Too expensive to leave the car in the open car park for a week
Suggestions welcome

Taxi????

and anyway, the bendy buses are the airport express buses and they are going out of commission from tonight!!

Isn't that exactly why TAXIS were invented? It isn't any different here in Brazil, nor was it in Canada where I'm from originally. Buses may start running a little earlier in some places, but that all depends on the demand and the ongoing ridership counts. No public trasportation company is going to put buses out on the road to circulate almost empty, pay the cost of fuel and salaries for nothing. Life's like that sometimes. If the taxi fare is really high then bite the bullet and pay for the parking or arrange a flight that coincides with public transportation schedules.

last time i used the airport car park for a week it was only about 35-40euros - and thats probably the same as a return taxi is it not. have you googled the shuttle service that operates from the airport?

biddy

Unfortunately the shuttle service doesn't come anywhere near St Thomas Bay - we're out on a limb!

Like Toon we use the airport car park and never had a problem.
No worries about taxi not arriving our not being at the airport when you get back. May be slightly more expensive if you are away long than two weeks but worth it for the hassle free feeling.
