Things to do in Rodrigues?

Hi!

A friend of mine is going to Rodrigues and wonders if anyone can recommend any places to visit or things to do that go beyond what guidebooks write about. Any insider tips?

Hi,

The best way to explore would be to rent a good scooter - and wander around, lots of sceneries.

Then, there's a guy called Daniel, a French expat, who has a boat and does day trips with traditional fishermen, snorkelling and so on. Much better than those trips propose by the tourist office of Rodrigues. A must-do!

There are also ziplines (this you'll find on brochures) and other walks around the cost.

Otherwise, Rodrigues is more for relaxing and having a complete break from the world!

Go to Saint Francois and walk along the coast, there are some paths, you will get so see some very nice creeks, unique sites!
