Hi,

I'm a French student, half Vietnamese (from my mom) and half French. I grew up in France and unfortunately I do not know how to speak Vietnamese. I learnt Vietnamese language but not enought to speak fluently with my Vietnamese family in Vietnam. I've also spent 1 year in London and 5 months in Spain so I can speak English, Spanish and French Fluently.

What do you think about doing a kind of exchange?

I can speak English, Spanish or French with you and you learn me Vietnamese? :)

Cheers,

Elodie.

Hi Elodie,
how's Vietnam experience to date?
I am originally from VN, but spent most of my active life in Geneva, Suisse. So I am fluent with French, English a bit less fluent with Vietnamese ( when it comes to complicated words.)
But this reply is not for me, my wife is Vietnamese in her 30s, she is learning actively English and moght be interested in  exchanging Vietnamese-English with you depending on how you can get together, we are living in Thao Dien ,D2 and you are in Thu Duc a bit far away?

So, just put forward a possibility, to discuss further.

Anyway, best luck and be happy for your tome in VN!

HI there,
It's a good idea. Contact me if you wanna exchange language :)

charmavietnam

Is your 'exchange' free?

Hi Charmavietnam,

Ofcourse It's free. If you don't believe, why don't you hangout with me to exchange language and culture? How about tomorrow evening? 6PM at Highland coffee located at the corner of Pham Ngu Lao street and De Tham street?

Btw, i am also interested in Indian culture.

charmavietnam

No, thanks. I think I learned more than you :D
And...  is there coffee 'free' in Highland coffee?
You can google to learn Indian culture, no need my help :D

Hi guy,

I think you know that the coffee is not free in Highland coffee shop.
Btw, learning Indian culture from internet is very different from learning from a REAL Indian guy. Don't you think so?

It would be important for ngao010388 since he wants to meet a "REAL Indian guy" and you turned out to be some chick.  I really don't care; it's just that to me the word "charma" conjures up a girly persona.

It's only important for me if I were to meet you in person one on one because I don't play with girls who are married or otherwise have a man, outside a business setting.

charmavietnam

Are you sure ngao010388 is boy? :D
Don't you lost your google doctorate?

I don't really care because he's not asking me out for coffee (at least on two separate threads I've ran across...maybe he really likes you).  But based on his avatar image and that he likes  "beer", I'd say with 95% confidence he is male.

Something's wrong with your website.  I tried some links and they were broken.  Check the English Pages.

charmavietnam

I didn't see anything broken. Can you pm me the link, pls?

You got it.

Charms vietnam is a couple. My guess : Indian husband + Vietnamese spouse. They run English classes and also sell natural soap and other beauty aids. So either a guy or a gal can answer you..

Tommyvtt

Sounds great,

Please pm me if you still like to do the activity.
