Would like to work in Malta

i am a filipino but lived in the uk for 12 years and now a british citizen..i would like to work in malta...do i need to get a work permit? or any other requirements...? can you give me information please...and what is the wages per hour for nurses working in a public hospital or private hospital...thank you...

Hi yoldan,

welcome to the forum.

As a UK citizen you do not need a work permit to work in Malta but you will have to register as a nurse in Malta and have your certificates recognized here. That can take some time.

The salary for a nurse will be around the average Maltese salary which is around 14.000 €/year.
