Sorry to announce that yesterday one expat male (French) was caught during the curfew, beaten till death inside the Kasr el Nile Police Station (Garden City).

Condolences to his friends and family.

Welcome to the new (old) police state! :'(

Not to forget the two canadian citizens who have been arrested during curfew.... And these are only the expats... How many egyptians have been arrested, no1 knows...

yesterday they caught two expats one from Switzerland and other Candian near by Marsa Matrouh, and they were accused of having weapons!

So, this means, even we hold passport w/valid-visa and excuses, the police arrest us and put us in jail without investigating?
What kind of excuses can be accepted? What if I need medicine all of sudden?
