Hi Guys,
are any of you using 4G modems (zain, stc, mobily) for online gaming?

I used to have a 20mbps DSL line (STC), but after moving it is down to 8mbps, and the ping sucks for online gaming.

I am just not so sure whither the 4G modems are good enough for online gaming and afraid that it will turn it to be worse!!
I honestly thing these companies are just bunch of sales people who are interested to sell and nothing else.

Hi Adnan,

I am looking to buy a 4g router also from stc for gaming to europe,
but afraid the pings would be bad to europe.

What did yo find out ?

STC 4G 100mbps is good one, the one priced 1400SR
im using it and i get like 50-80 ping on online gaming its very great as well.

Hi. I am trying to select a internet package for PS3 gaming as well as home usage. I have heard good reviews about STC but not sure which package to get. The website shows "Internet Device Packages" and "Internet Packages" I am assuming the internet packages are for phone line which I dont have.

Also I could find the 100mpbs package you stated. Can you provide a url link to it? i need something around 200 SR not more unlimited or very large volume.
