Hey everyone, short biography is I'm Mike, 26 years old, born in Moscow, grew up in the US, and I've been traveling for the last 5 months.

I'm coming to Vietnam and planning on renting an apartment for a few months or longer, would love to meet people that can show me the city - where to live, where to eat, activities or groups to join, where locals hang out, good places to grab some drinks, etc.

Shoot me a message if you wouldn't mind showing someone new what HCMC has to offer. Looking forward to getting to know vietnam,

Mike

Thanks for the replies everyone! Jonh (or Nathan?), hopefully I'll find enough to do in the boring little city of HCM. Maybe I could take some walks on down the quiet streets :)

I'll be coming in this Thursday on the 10th and will be sure to get in touch with everyone here, it's great that Vietnam has such friendly locals going out of their way to make people feel welcome there. Looks like I made the right choice on places to move

Thieves are more friendlier than others. So be careful in tourists' area.
