Organic herb vegetables !!!

What constitutes "Organic" in Vietnam. In the West this is has many meaning and they are all sanctioned by the government. How can you make local HCMC folks to believe your products are truly from Dalat and not from China. I'm not suggesting your dishonest, it just seems so many people here doubt the quality of any produce unless it is sold in a Metro store etc.

I recall a newspaper article I read about an unscrupulous trader importing Chinese potatoes and washing/dying it red to look like potatoes from Đà Lạt.

It just takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch.

Indeed, That would be my concern for this person. I'm sure they are sincere in their efforts. Yet they will still have to compete with the bad guys that people seem to be so fearful of. This was my point. I hope the research this aspect before they dive in feet first.

Organic usually means no chemicals have ever been used  at the place that the food is grown and leeched into the ground. No chemicals are used to grow the products that you are selling.

Make consumer believe is not an easy thing nowadays as so many 'Chinese organic foods' controlling the market! Even they can 'produce' organic vegs with certificate in this high-tech age! So how, we, commoners identify whether it is pure Dalat veg or from the country of duplicates? I saw some shops offering Dalat vegs but not much courage to go and buy from that shops!

Yes, I understand the original intent behind calling something "Organic". Yet in the USA the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has seen fit to characterize many form of growing as o.K. for the label of "ORGANIC". Even when chemicals have been used.
My point being to only ask the person what Dalat considers "organic". This apart fro the issue this budding company will face trying to prove to the consumer it is even from Vietnam, let alone Dalat.
This is before they face the issue of "organic".

It was quite interesting because they introduced clearly their process of planting organic in a seminar before the bazaar started. With photos, technical knowledge and experiences shown, people believed in the origin and bought their products.
