Hey all,

I know this seems like a silly question, but any idea where I can find peanut butter in Budapest, I checked all the super markets but no luck.

Pitzicat

Tesco has it in the larger Tesco stores ( their own brand which is not bad) also Culinaris has peanut butter.

CarolineInce

Yes Culinaris do have it, it's cheaper in the British Store though:

You can always make it yourself from unsalted peanuts!

I bought if from Tesco, the big one in Arena Plaza. The Plaza is near the Keleti train station.

They sometimes do an American food week in Lidl when they sell it.

Ingie

Thank you all for your replies. I got it at culinaris, it's a little expensive there but i found my favorite brand :)

Found some peanut butter for around 800 to 900 forint at Tesco in the tiny import section of the store.
Was a Tesco brand, ok for a peanut butter fix but not anywhere as good as Jiffy.

Marilyn Tassy

This was at the Tesco in Arena Plaza.
