Hi all,

I want to have, if possible, feedbacks from people who lived or still in istanbul, and who worked in financial sectors or istitutions. any information about salary and work procedure will be really helpful for me.
I've heard that proposed wages are not really interesting there. Actually i've lived in istanbul before so i know life's costs there .. but now as i'm planning to go and work there, i've started to think seriously about salary and what can i propose to the HR team ... do you think that asking for salary between 4000 and 4500 TL (monthly for sure) is too much request ?
Need to precise the profile:
- master degree in financial engineering in one of the prestigious french universities.
- fluent in many languages (turkish too but do not have the turkish nationality)
- work experiences in many financial institutions in france

Thank you so much for your help,

smherd

Hi Leyla,
Im not working in finance. I can just tell you a website iskolig.com  where you may find salary information about companies in Turkey,. Good luck! In general 4500 (net salary)  TL  is a good salary for young professionals.

4000 to 4500 TL is good if you will live in flatshare with people but if u r planning to live alone, apartments around taksim and sisli start from 1400 to 2000 TL per month. 2 bedrooms
