Hello all
What type of power sockets are there in Oman? I only know of 2 varieties , one in India and in UK? Is it similar to any one of these.

In Oman, we use the flat pin type sockets, the same socket type as the UK and its the 240v AC Outlet...... in India its the round one....

thanks for responding dr_aich, my wife has been selected for ophthal and i am supposed to go to oman for facing my interview as there were'nt sufficient no. of application for arranging interview in my stream, what is the process after getting contract letter, there is no mention of hospital but they have said both of us will be placed in same city and since my speciality(nephro) needs tertiary care set up so we can expect to be placed in a better city. what were the points in favor whence deciding for oman.

To answer your question I really do not know which hospitals in Oman has nephrology setup.
To decide for Oman it was only money and as an added benefit they follow protocol just as I was used to in UK .
