REMEMBRANCE DAY - HIGHWAY OF HEROES TRIBUTE

Post new topic

James

November 11 is Remebrance Day, celebrated in many nations worldwide. As a Canadian who is proud of my heritage, I also have a moral duty to remember and honor those brave souls, many of whom are unknown, who gave their lives to keep me and every other Canadian free. I also remember and honor the memory of all other soldiers of all nations who fought and died to keep countries free from dictatorships and tyrany.

The following video is a tribute to the repatriation of Canadian soldiers who were killed in Afghanastan, however I intend it here also as a tribute to all the others of all wars who kept us free at the cost of their lives.

God Bless you all, God Bless Canada

We call it Veterans Day.  Remembrance Day would sound too much like Memorial Day.

James

Yeah Hailey I know that, but you guys even celebrate Thanksgiving on the wrong date too! LOL

I don't know why we never celebrate that famous Virginia colony in Canada.
