SouthLondon

Hello, I am a 47 year old unqualified fitter in London Uk and I service and repair power tools and small engines for the construction industry. I am looming for a firm to sponsor me in north island or the Marlborough region for I.e 1-2 years with a view to becoming permanent if I like it and they like me. I've tried the bigger firms like hire quip, McEntee's etc but they didn't want to know. Anyone know of any agencies or building firms I can approach. Australia on the other hand is very hard to get into. With NZ the cut off age is 55.

I seriously doubt whether you will find a job in NZ in your line of work.
You could check out the NZ govt immigration website to see is there is a job on the skilled migration list that may suit you.
