Those numbers sounds like a man depressed drinking to avoid misery not one of celebrating.  That's not good.

A regular drinker, over a period of several hours, can down 20 bottles with no problem. No depression necessary. I'm NOT a regular drinker, but have had friends who are. They drink on a pace of about 5 bottles to my 2, in the same period of time. I don't know AP, but in his avatar, he looks like a pretty big guy, so I would say it's feasible for him.

I just see by his post that he is alone (asking for anyone to join him) and I usually think drinking is a social group activity but when done alone, it usually is associated with being depressed or bored. 

Hopefully you're right and everything's fine but I do have a concern.  There are two reasons: 1) today's date is significant in US history and 2) this post where I talked about Veterans.

No worries about me. My offer was incase anyone was in the backpacker area and wanted to have a few beers.  This is one of the days where I reflect on the past, remember some really good people and ponder the insignificant actions of what we thought was significant once upon a time. Still sober enough to somewhat make sense....
