Hi,
We are moving to KL in December from Brunei. I tend to order stuff online from eBay and other stores. In Brunei you have to collect everything from the post office and open it in front of a customs official. Is this the same in KL, or do parcels get delivered to your home address?

Many thanks
Peter

Hi Peter,
On. Brunei, I would like to seek yr advice pls. On viability for me and family to visit the country as tourists. Is it worth to come with our two young kids and for how long, to cover main interesting points. Thanks on advance....

It is probably different depending where you live in Malaysia. In the metropolitan area some parcels get delivered but may have been opened.  Large ones tend to end up not being driven out and the recipient gets a card. If living in a Condo they will ring you when the parcel arrives (sometimes). Otherwise you have to collect yourself from nearest depot. Parcels are monitored and import charges have to be settled at the airport in Sepang.
