Does anyone know where one can watch the upcoming Gray Cup?
Does anyone know where there is an ice rink in Riyadh?

Hi dehill,

I have no idea how many other Canadians you'll find in Riyadh, but I highly doubt that the Grey Cup is even know there, let alone popular.

The only thing I could suggest is if you can find a local pub owned by a fellow Canuck that maybe they'll have it on satellite feed.

There are no pubs in Saudi Arabia--alcohol is forbidden. Closest thing you'll find (that's not even close!) is coffee shops.

Sometimes the hotels have large screen TV's showing important sporting events (although I've never heard of the Grey Cup). Best bet is to ask around.

As for an ice rink, I understand there is one for adults at FAL compound.

Sorry bud, there are no ice rinks left in Riyadh. There was never one in FAL compound, it was called the FAL rink and it was outside in public, and it has since closed down.

I think there might be one in Oasis Compound in Riyadh...(The same compound where the rink is in Dammamn)...but I still haven't confirmed.

As for the Grey Cup...you can barely find it back home bud, how do you expect to find it here?! LOL
