Welcome back? I guess? I can only imagine the difficulty in meeting people. Have you tried being a member of Yuni-net? It's a Yahoo! Group and mostly has all expats. Mostly used to hunt apartments/find information/sell-buy stuff, I am sure a shout to meet and grab a beer somewhere would be answered with gusto! Cold beer on hot summer days? BRING IT ON!

Plus, Thursday is an expat night in Urban Pind (GK... 1..2...I'm always confused.. I think it's GK 1).

Hi all, reading your thred, I wonder - did you finally meet on a Thursday?
I am new in Delhi and really need to get started with socializing. I have not been able to meet any new people since I am here (more then 2 months). I am staying in the south, Chhatarpur area. Anyone interested in meeting for some coffee or beer on the weekend? Please let me know.

I'm also going on 2 months here....unfortunately i was forced to travel to Mumbai the last few days - got back in town today. Would love to organize a get together - i'm completely free the next 8-10 days.

I will be on a short trip to Bhutan from Wednesday to Monday. Maybe we can get something organized for the first week of June... How about this place called Urban Pind ? I haven't been there but we could give it a try on the following Thursday - June 3rd (not too late as Friday is a work day) !? in case you know anyone already bring him/her along...I'll do the same, the more people we get to know the better the chance to make some new friends soon. lol

Hi Guys -

First of, Noida is not far at all - 20 minutes from everywhere in Delhi There are no stop lights from Noida all freeways - the DND tollway takes you from Noida to Delhi in 3 mins.

I am free this week then back to bombay next sunday - so any day in the next 7 days - wide open!

Tuesday? wednesday? thursday? - my friend owns several of Delhi's bars and restaurants - he just opened a new place, Red Monkey in Def col market - i will be heading there tomorrow and also on wednesday. Let me know if someone is interested.

Hey! So how was it? Is it a new hang out pub or is it more of a lounge or what?

It was excellent! We had fun....The place is only 3 days old - so still some growing pains. My childhood buddy Rohan owns it...might go back tomorrow or Friday if you are interested.

Friday sounds like a plan! Also, I've heard S4 (or is it 4S?) in Defence Colony market might have Guinness. So maybe, pub hopping? hahaha

Ok - Friday it is. I actually thought the same....wait till Friday since this week is looking a bit crazy....and since my return to India i have come to the conclusion that Def Col market has a ton of places worth visiting! Not to mention, its a popular american/expat hangout.

I am in Noida until tomorrow and then i relocate myself to Mumbai - so hit me up there and we'll catch up....i have an apartment in the Juhu area and there is craploads to do in that area.
