Renting flexibility?

Hey,

Can anyone tell me how flexible contracts are in Budapest when it comes to renting apartments?

For example, can you rent monthly and leave when you wish (with notice) or gain short term contracts, like 3 months?

In the UK, leases or contracts are limited to a 6 month period so if you wished to leave after 3 months you would still be committed to paying the remaining 3 months, so was just to see what the deal is with Budapest?

Pretty much the same as in the UK, depending on the contract you sign.

Hi Mikey,

You can go with short term month by month even, yet with short term operators or even landlords it can be tricky to with the holidays. Say you'd like to rent from mid Dec to mid Jan.
Also, there are differences between nighborhoods (downtown or countryside) and size of apartments/properties.
