Guys,

I need to sharpen my carving knife and I have left my strop/compounds back home. Where do I get them here?

That thread came up on a google search. I think you can enter kitchen appliances Saigon in google and find some place very close to you, probably get better results entering it in Vietnamese. That's how I'd do it, there're no Yellow Pages here and you'll probably get someplace a lot closer than a random answer here. Best o' luck.
