seriously considering Reunion

I'm British. my partner is Spanish and we have two kids.
We're currently in Brazil, but the education system is so bad here we're looking for somewhere else and are seriously considering Reunion.

A couple of questions. We'd need to hit the ground running so what are the employment opportunities? I'm a web designer and my partner is a teacher / translator.

Also, how are the schools. Will we find anything comparable to European standards of education?

Hi Pirate

A couple of points to bear in mind:

Do you, your partner or children speak French? Life's difficult here if you don't.

Is your or your partner's work web-based i.e. with clients overseas? (I'm a translator myself). Locally unemployment is very high - the highest of any European region actually.

The cost of living here is much higher than in Brazil.

As Reunion is France schools here are run on the French system, so if you know anything about that you'll know what to expect here.
