I am married to a Chinese girl living in Guangzhou. We want to live together in China. I currently live in Canada. How do we go about my getting a China Residence Visa? Thank you.

so you two register and got the marriage certificate? in china or USA? If so ask the register office.

Married couple would be easy to apply resident permit for living in your wife's country or your's.

If you two are just married.
Then my advise is :1 Q visa
2 Get a job here and get your work permit and residence permit.
You can let your wife to ask about details in the government.
