Yangon, need dollars or visa ok?

Hi everybody,
We are coming soon to spend 2 months in Yangon to work.
As it's very difficult to get the right answer from France, I apologise in advance for asking you questions :
- do wo really need US dollars ?
- can we withdraw K on ATM machines in Yangon?
- is there some change offices?
Any advices are welcome!

Better if you bring cash in Myanmar
Yes, USD is needed. You can exchange to Kyats once you are in Myanmar. Lot of money changer in the city,
For Visa. Some hotels already accept it but with extra charges.
Last time my friend could withdraw Kyats from Mastercard ATM (Cirrus) through CB Bank. Haven't tried it by myself.
