Terrestrial TV in Riyadh?

Hi all,

I am living on a compound with its own cable feed, but I am hoping to find a way to get broadcasts in Arabic. Getting a satellite is out of the question, so I need alternatives. Are there over-the-air broadcasts available in Riyadh? Does anyone have experience picking them up with a modern LCD TV? Are there digital broadcasts? Do DTT converter boxes exist and/or are they needed? I am woefully out of the loop with TV technology!

Yes Available! iun RIYADH. You can search in BATHA Area and also. They provide you dish for satellite.

Sorry for the confusion, but I cannot have a satellite dish installed. I need to know whether, for example, MBC 1 can be picked up without a satellite dish by a new TV.

What about TV over internet?
Do you have a good connection?

I don't think satellite channels can be picked up without a satellite dish, easily. It need a complicated set up.
