I will shortly be staying in Sliema  for about 2 months, I was wondering if there were any ex pat clubs in that area that I could come along to.

Also I understand that the bus company now allows passengers the option ot buy monthly unlimited travel on there buses is this correct, if so where would one buy such a ticket.
Thank you Graham

The bus service is changing from private (Arriva) to Government run service.
All previous arrangements should apply but wait until you get here to confirm.
Good news is that all ticket prices are now the same so it will be €1.50 per day unlimited travel.
No expat clubs but people here meet every Wednesday see : https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.p … =7#1664699

Hi Graham,

it depends what you mean by 'club'? If you are thinking of Expat groups and meetings there are many in Malta.

For example:

There are also many country group meetings.

And of course our own Wednesday Expat meet-up at BIanco's in St.Julians.

Cheers
Ricky
