Hello,
I am an Australian who currently lives in Cologne. I want to apply to get the "Aufenthaltsgenehmigung". The question is: Would an Australian travel insurance (RACV) be acknowledged by the German Behoerde as proof of health insurance? What kind of health insurance do you have if you are staying longer than 6 months in Germany?

Thanks in advance for any information.
