This means that interracial dating led to interracial marriage which led to interracial cuisine which led to interracial family which led to interracial kids which now leads to interracial bliss.
Bravo! ...
Yes it is true,.....at the right time, right place and with the right person. Love is just around the corner...be ready if it strikes you! Cheers
We have read opinions of forummers so far, but now let's look at some numbers in this article.
Changing landscape of dating in America - Why 1 in 7 U.S. couples are marrying out

How nice it would be to have data like this from other countries.
This goes to show that only in USA the search for truth based on facts continues ...

Hi . Yeah it does exist. I'm australian & my husband is Pakistani. I'm moving to Islamabad in May . Race or age doesn't even really come into it with us. We really are soulmates

I enjoyed reading all of the above ideas about love, but i'm wondering where is the threat initiator Lauralyn !!!. It seems she wrote the post then quite the web.
opposites do attract, im Dutch by nationality live in South Africa but feel at home in Egypt and with Arabic culture which is totally opposite to what ive been brought up, since I visited Egypt I feel ive come home and hope to be married to Egyptian . Its not colour or culture that determines who your soul mate is. although backgrounds do play a role. There is much to learn and to adapt , but when two people are mature enough to accept each others differences and acknowledge that the attraction is for growth and personal development and not to settle for what one already has, for some people who needs the experience of an interracial relationship its best not to deny that within yourself but to ackowledge and embrace it whole heartedly, just my humble opinion
Magiclifeistanbul wrote:Race is not important but the culture absolutely is.
Just for dating then its Ok but if you say love then even culture also doesn't matter....
lauralyn wrote:Does true love really exist between people of different races?
Why wouldn't it? Most days I don't even notice my husband and I are different races. Probably because we have the same culture, so there is never confusion.
Magiclifeistanbul wrote:Race is not important but the culture absolutely is.
I agree with this, maybe OP meant culture included?

If you would have different cultures then do you think it would have not worked or there might be no love between you two....Love don't have any barriers of language,races,cultures...etc.
Yes it does, love knows no barriers....n it's fun to spend the other half of your life learning something different every now n then associated with your love ....
Happily married with an interracial soul mate since 2 years, after a long sweet dating of 7 years...... experienced personally!!!!

opposites attract ... why wouldn't it work? Of course there are unique challenges, but all relationships have those.

true love does exist between interraces, i have been married for 11 years to an egyptian and am a black south african and i enjoy my marriage too much and my husband is very much loving and wonderful, very much happy and we have children, so marriage is not about color or race or religion for that matter, love is blind and love is lovely

I actually don't really care for the use of the term "race" at all. "Race" does not exist as all people are human. The physical differences in skin color, hair texture, eye color, facial features, etc. are simply a function of adaptation. Scientist have found that after a relatively short 2000-2500 years a group of people that has moved from an equatorial region toward a more polar region would lighten in skin color or would darken in skin color if the reverse happened ... without any intermarriage.
Humans need vitamin D, a vitamin we get from the sun. Humans need protection from UV rays from the sun. Levels of melanin increase or decrease over time to maintain a proper balance. That is human adaptation.
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor … =100057939
So even though "race" does not exist, "racism" does exist. Some people, ignorant of facts and prejudicial in bias, continue to believe race exists and hate people who are different than them.
So I would say "interracial dating" does not exist either, as there is no "race" in "racial." What we call interracial dating is really "intercultural" dating. So, yes, I support intercultural dating, that same thing that some people call interracial dating.

Lets all get back on topic, which is interracial dating.
I for one, approve of it. A bit biased here as I have lived and worked in many countries over the years, dated women in some of them and now married to a woman in one of them...
I also agreed with the idea of interracial dating....
We expats are at the forefront of interracial dating.
With the world on the move, everybody travels, works and settles wherever they wish, and interracial dating occurs automatically sooner or later.
The persons already involved in an interracial relationship or those who have been involved in one are the right ones to give an authorized opinion on issues (if any) related to this subject.
Let's not forget that this is NOT a dating web site and topics like this thread are better discussed on dating web sites where they fit best to the portal's profile.
I like simple and to the point.
In my humble opinion, if skin colour makes a difference to you, you're probably stupid.
Seriously, what sort of fool looks at a girl's skin colour to decide if he fancies her or not?
Anyone with a problem related to skin color is a tad more than stupid.
They need to take a long hard look at themselves and work out where they fit into the scheme of things.
I agree with Fred.
I have a preference for Asian women rather than Caucasian woman; culture is one reason and skin coulour is another. I guess that makes me.........

Hey fred is that due to a diet of playboy magazines in your misspent youth ??
I speak from a position of experience.

When I was 11, my mate found his dad's extensive porn magazine collection - we read the lot.
At that tender age, we were prone to experimenting with any of the girl that would let us and, luckily for me, a few were equally interested.
My first frenchie was in the garage behind the library before I was 12 and I kopped my first touch of naughty bits a week or so later.
By the time I was 14, I'd lost all interest in porn and it never returned.
Saying that the NCB truck drivers' party at a strip club in Barnsley was quite interesting.
Chicken and chips in a basket, very badly made porno films involving nuns, topless waitresses and strippers in fancy dress.
I really shouldn't have been there at just 17 years old but, what can I say, I'm a red blooded chap.
The police raided at the end of the night but we managed to exit through the toilet window.
Up to that point, I hadn't experienced any ladies from anywhere except England.
Those delights were discovered at a nurses home in Rotherham when I was about 20.
Two lady nurses from some African country I can't remember.
I can assure posters, skin colour is of no concern in that situation.
@fred
So your education was complete then...

Hi Stumpy (& mas fred),
There is so much compatibility between the two of you impossible to pass unnoticed.
You even insult each other amicably!
If I had mentioned about Fred's 'misspelt youth', I am sure forummers here would have jumped on me making my life miserable, but the two of you can get away very easily with humorous slurs on each other.
Your relationship is so close that someone might even say you are dating each other
but not me. I realize you two are chatting tigers on your way to the river where you KNOW that beasts oblivious of approaching dangers to be eaten alive drink water.

Yes - thank you Armand for making this thread boring and antiseptic. You should know that it has been more than forty years since my 21st birthday and I don't need or want protection from lively debate.

Hi there,
Do you know what went on here just a few days back? I can send you copies of the posts which have been deleted not at my request.
We all are free to post, to comment, to disagree, to protest, but we all also must comply with forum's policy, which by the way, is no different from the policies of other forums, including professional ones.
On top of that, you and I are old enough for younger individuals to respect us, and never too old to date anyway, anyhow, anybody and anytime we wish, including interracial.
(Edit added)
I do not know how other cultures respect their elderly, but I can say that in Romania we had a saying:
Someone who is old and wrong is more useful than a young man who is right. An 'old' man made it to an old age, but there is no guarantee that the young man will reach to be old.
I have been brought up to respect someone who is older than me even if by only 6 months.

These aren't the walls of a bathroom stall. Interracial dating is not talking about your fetish for Asian women, your revulsion for tribal woman, or preferred body parts. Grow up! This topic is about whether love can bridge the gap of culture, not for locker room braggarts.
