I don't think there is a way to survive a family in this salary, even for you it will be not easy.

Trapezius

You can definitely survive, if you just want to survive.  But live comfortably?  That's not going to be possible, especially as that 4,000 is a package, not basic salary.  If 4,000 basic, that's the minimum for living comfortably for 2.5 people.

My advice, as I gave in the other thread, ask them for a separate housing allowance on top of that 4,000.  The housing allowance should be en extra 1,000, and that will help a lot.  Otherwise, from your 4,000, you will have to spend around 1,500 on housing per month.  That will leave you 2,500.  Another 500 to 1,000 will go on transportation.  As you see, it is not good.

Hand to mouth, especially in these days and inflation is hitting ksa as well so better think once again . Otherwise it will be difficult to live along with your family, but if you want to live alone then you can, so choice is yours.

No very low salary for a family ..and point is you might be able to survive but then if you can barely survive whats the point ?

Salam,

It depends on how much you spend.
Compare to other Gulf nations, saudi arabia is cheaper.

You can save more than 4500 SR since you are a bachelor guy.

Just move on

How much you save depends on your salary, and is not a fixed amount.  If your salary is only 5,000, how an you save more than 4,500?  And if your salary is 100,000 you can save a lot more than 4,500.

BijayKumar said his salary is 5,333, so no, of course he can't save more than 4,500.  If you were responding to the OP, his salary is even lower than 4,500, so who exactly were you responding to?

Bijay ,,,the decision to move at that salary depends alot on many conditions..... the salary isn't really very high and you may be able to save about 3000 if u live very economically....but do u want that kind of lifestyle ? Overall career progression isn't much so keep that in mind too....being a non-muslim is not an issue, just be careful about the culture and you will be fine from that respect...
