I posted this in the Riyadh forum by mistake this morning!

Where are the best places to buy furniture and electronics? I've looked at IKEA and googled LED/LCD flat screens but would like input from some current Jeddah Expats. I know my accommodations will be at least partly furnished but from what I've seen I'm not sure my wife is going to stray from the more western decorating themes...

@SACO (hardware store, has some furniture, esp for outdoors)
@Various designer brand/high end furniture boutiques

@@@Electronics (first 2 are similar to Best Buy)

@Emax
@Jarir Bookstore (computers, phones, cameras, accessories)
@Jeddah International Market (mall with several brand name stores)
@Brand name stores everywhere

Thank you, kind sir. That is exactly what I was looking for. Now I need two more things: to arrive in Jeddah & find the time to shop...!

Compound hasn't been confirmed but it's supposed to be a 3br villa.

If all goes as planned I should be on ground in Jeddah in the next 2-3 weeks.
