Has anyone ever bought organic fruits, vegetables, or lamb from Organica farms??? Looks interesting, but would really like to know the quality of their product before trying them out.

We decided to go ahead & try for a month. If it's worth it we will continue, if it ends as a bust it will be considered yet another experiment in Saudi that didn't work. I love buying from the farmer's markets when I visit my mom so I am hopeful.

j.echo

good luck! keep us posted on your new experiment.  :top::whistle:

I got my produce on Monday. It was nice that it was all ripened here and not picked early. The company has only been doing the delivery service for the last 2 months which is why no one could really find any information. Each week they will send me an email saying what my box will include and I can change items as I want. Needless to say next week I will ask for little to no tomatoes as I got a ton this week. Though the fresh red & white radishes, rocket, and chard were a great change from what I have been finding here.

The company also does fruit boxes a few months a year, dates, and offers to sell lamb (whole or half - can be left whole or cut up how you want). Since it was only our first delivery I still am in a mixed bag, but have been promised Kale should be coming in the next week or 2!!!

that''s great to hear....  i'm jealous already.....  :dumbom::idontagree:  it must be really nice to have fresh produce in your kitchen....and organic.... i will wait for their fruit-bearing months!

Dear Mr.j.echo
As you have requested, the organic food restaurants in Jeddah are :
1- shake shack burgers (which is located in Tahlya st.).
2- Pizza Fusion (which is the best, you can't even imagine how delicious their food are and they have many branches around, you just have to search for the nearest branch to you.
So this is the most important famous organic food restaurants in Jeddah and if you discover more , we will be glade if you provide us with your experience.
Thanks a lot and appreciate it.

Thanks for posting.... yes, pizza fusion is one of our favorites here, and there is one near my workplace.

Next Stop: Shake shack burgers it is.....

thanks Dr.Rex

Shake Shack is organic?  But, isn't it weird wanting to eat organic food and then going for organic fast food?

@stressedmom, any pics?!  Would be great if you can share pics :)

stressedmom

I have a few pics yes, but have to figure out how to post.

Do these farms and the website Organica.com exist anymore? I can't see anything organic except a "Hello World"!
