Hi,
I just need to know if the banks are like the banks in England- do they offer an overdrawn facility?

Just in case you become stuck for money?  (and transferring money from UK can be time consuming and a pain..)

They not allow for that.but if u r working in Thailand with legal work permit must be ok

Hi Zoe
Banks in Thailand are certainly not like the UK
You will be fined if you go over drawn.
You will also be charged a yearly fee just for having a bank account. And you will be charged for an ATM card and just about anything else they can think off.

You have to remember - if your not Thai, you will get limmited things when it comes to banks, overdrafts, credit cards>
To get all off these things you will need a work permit and things can get easier.

Enjoy the land of smiles...
