Best places to live in Canada (2014 Edition)

Post new topic

Abdel

Good morning everyone,

What is the city where it is good to live in Canada?

Of course there are plenty of them, especially as Canada is one of the best countries ranked high in human development (11th in IDH for 2012). But every person has certain criterias to choose what seems the best place to live in.
Here are the best cities in which to live in Canada according to the Moneysense magazine.

The 2014 edition is characterized by the principle of  ‘’it’s time to think small '' : the magazine has measured the quality of life in 201 cities (according to 34 different factors) across the country and this year, it’s small towns that stole the show .

Analysts measured  affordability (Average House prices, household income, property tax…), weather , transportation, crime, health care and more. There is a broad representation of cities from all regions in the top 10. But if we are familiarized to see Vancouver or Toronto on global lists; according to MoneySense Alberta stands proudly at the top.

Satellite communities around major centres are evolving to deliver small-town flare with big-city conveniences. In that way, many of these communities aren’t just great places to live: they’re Canada’s best-kept secrets. Take St. Albert, a community of just 64,000 on the edge of Edmonton that few Canadians have likely ever heard of. They have now, because St. Albert tops MoneySense’s annual Best Places to Live ranking.

I let you enjoy the survey and also discover, where is the best place in which to live in Canada.
