Hi Gaurav,

To give more light to your request here, i created a new topic with it on the Brazil forum.

I think that you can find some useful information if you can browse through the topics available on the Information on visas in Brazil section please.

Thank you and have a nice day,

Priscilla

Hello Gaurav,

The VITEM-V Work Visa processing time really depends on the company you will be working for and the Immigration lawyer or consultant that they use to look after the application. If it is a large company that hires internationally a lot and they use an experienced lawyer or consultant who deals with the Ministry of Labor frequently then it will probably take a short time.

If it is a small company with an inexperienced lawyer or consultant it could take much longer. Anything related to visas here in Brazil is a very complex, bureaucratic and time consuming chore. I'd say be patient right now - no news is good news! If something had gone wrong you'd hear about it quickly.

Don't forget too, the visas are being processed not just for yourself, but for your other family members too and each is a separate process.

Cheers,
