Hi ,

there are always vacancies for waitresses in the area but do you have a work permit as your profile says you are from the Phillipines?

Do you have experience ?

Cheers
Ricky

yes sir. iv'e got social security and Maltese id.  and I have  many years experience as a waitress.
i did also work in valletta as a waitress, but they give me 3 euro an hour. and not enough time. so i am looking for a full time.

I would suggest you send your CV to restaurants in Ssliema / Paceville / St Juliant's. Here's a link to start off with: http://yellowpages.com.mt/Malta-Search/ … Gozo.aspx.
Good luck.

Hi,

no need to call me sir ! Just Ricky -)))

It's best to just walk the streets in the areas quoted as many restaurants post vacancies in their windows.

One thing is not quite clear for me ! How can you have a work permit as a non-EU citizen and be paid less than the minimal wage of around 5 ?

And social security number and Maltese ID are not work permits per se! And you should have the the new e-residence card and not the 'Maltese ID card' as non EU citizen! Or do you have Maltese citizenship or the citizenship of an EU country?

You can also apply at the ETC as many such jobs are offered through the Employment and Training Corporation (ETC).

Cheers
Ricky
