Moving to Oman Ned some Idea

Its a decent salary and you do have a good saving potential if that is your motive to move into Oman.
Keep in mind that you may not have the  same professionalism at work, that you  may find in India, unless you are joining some Mnc's .
No great job security either at Oman at this point of time, but as long as you are a performer that shouldn't matter.
Do your  groundwork on the company you intend to join, and resign only after obtaining a visa.

Also note that unlike the past, getting  a family visa these days takes  over six months, so incase you had an intention to shift your family earlier, its unlikely that may be possible,  and have that discussed with your potential employer.
Getting a driving license is a long drawn affair,  do carry the chip card Indian driving license which will allow you an exemption from 2 out of the 4 tests.
Purely from the salary perspective, the offer is  quite good, unless you are drawing in excess of 35 lacs per year In India.
