Hallo everyone,

I am Maricel from Manila, I visited Germany just recently (March-April 2014) and I really wanna go back and learn Deutsche. The problem is, when I checked DAAD and other scholarship grants, most are geared to students.

If anyone could help me get information on german language scholarship, I would really appreciate it.

Dankeschon!

As adults are supposed to earn their own living, I doubt that there are scholarships for this.
You may, however, convince your employer that German language skills are beneficial for your job and therefore they should pay your classes. (My wife did this.)

Hi Beppi,

Thanks for your reply, point well noted. I used to work here in the Philippines, but quit my corporate job when I visited Europe for 2 months. So now I am back in Manila and job hunting again but I really want to go back to Germany and learn Deutsch so I will have better job opportunities.

I guess I would have to pass the A1 exam first here.

Danke
Maricel
