That was my regular route, but that was some time ago.

Getting a thai visa is not a problem.. But getting a Malaysian one night be a bit tricky this way.. It used to be Ok for an overnight or few hours.. But now they may be stricter.... To be safe.. Stay at least 2 days in phuket or hatyai... If not make sure you got a good story to tell!
