Hi, well what do you expect? You are a foreigner so unless you have skills that Malaysian don't have - or are in short supply of - why do you think you can get a job in Malaysia? It is an open question to all those that want to go abroad on a whim especially Malaysia.

Admin is hardly a shortage job in Malaysia and pays 1.5k a month "upwards" . Min for an expat is 5k. So who will pay you 3x the market rate and bother with a work permit?

Basically you need to do a "skills audit" and assess if you have any marketable skills. Them summarise them here to see if anyone can help. If you have 7 years experience of IT programming in the oil industry, and are a well known expert, for example you have  a good chance, but then you wouldn't be posting here!! If you have a years experience in a low level job no way.

Mr.Muhammad Mustaq where are you living now..in which area in kuala lampur..?

I agree with nemodot.. Malaysia is a fairly sophisticated labour market and employers need to demonstrate to the authorities reasons why they cannot employ a local before even considered allowing foreign nationals. This are usually along two directions..either dangerous menial or jobs local don't want, or high tech or highly specialised industry such as pharmaceutical biotechnology or research...

You are also not alone, many from India are also asking the same thing looking for jobs in Malaysia. By all accounts do not try to do it informally.. The authorities here are very unforgiving on illegals are are downright abusers of human rights..

A work permit is only arranged by a company that has given you a job.  If you "buy" one, it is not valid and the moment you step foot in Malaysia, immigration officials at the airports will know it is a fake.  There is a two-step system in place, which means an employee who has been lucky enough to be offered a job is given a letter of approval that allows them to travel to Malaysia.  The actual work permit is not issued until after arrival.  So immigration can see by the passport, if a person has entered the country and therefore whether the permit is fake or not.

Don't mess with immigration in Malaysia.  The consequences are not very pretty and will include being taken to an internment camp before deportation and a ban from entering the country are finalised.

As a work permit is needed, or at least sight of the passport, for many things, it is not possible to fake being in Malaysia legally.  The biggest problem is that if you come on a fake permit, if you happen to find a job, if the company apply for a legitimate visa, they can see the passport contains a fake and will arrest the person and deport them.

So get a job from your home country, through one of the large companies that supplies Malaysian companies.  Don't try and buck the system or it will xuck you.

Don't believe anyone who says they can find you a job in Malaysia.  Don't part with any money either. This is the usual fraudsters route to making money for themselves.

BTW in newspaper in Batu Caves area. Syndicate arrested for arranging fake work permits. They charged 4,000 RM it seems. Stamps so good Polis are investigating whether the syndicate have links with immigration.

Mustaq I want a Ferrari, 2 supermodels that look like Bo Derek (when 20 years old) to join me in the shower every night ;), a private jet and to climb Everest.

All are possible, but I am not holding my breath! My chances of getting all these are about the same of you getting work in Malaysia with your standard of English. I suggest you stay in India.
