My son who is 14 will be flying into HCMC by himself. He has visa on arrival already but he has never flown here by himself. Does anyone know if it is possible to meet him after he gets off the plane? I have seen people waiting there holding signs to greet people before but I don't know if they are agents or how to go about it if possible.
He is a pretty sharp kid and I'm sure he can do it but I would feel better if I could meet him.

If you have connection with some airport staff, it's possible to enter inside. Otherwise you should wait outside like others to receive your guest  :)

You have 3 options:

1. Call the customer services at the airline. All airlines offer a so-called "Meet and Assist" services for special passengers, typically disabled and handicapped free of charge. If they are nice, they will give this service for your son

2. Since your son is relatively young (14 year old), you may have to pay for "unaccompanied minor" services for your son's travel. If not, it is still optional for you to pay to receive it.

3. There are several companies in Saigon which give the service you are asking for. Here are some of them

Sorry for the brevity. Don't have time to stay around the forum very long.

You mean to meet him after he finishes immigration? I just see people waiting outside and holding signs at the arrival gate. By the way, when does your son arrive here?
