Hi Isabelle,

My impressions are:

Busy and crowded (the place i live is a touristic spot, St. Julians other places are not like here)
Did not get used with Maltese language, and it is the first language from Maltese people instead the english, but everybody also speaks english.
Public service, like Social Security office and other that i already used are a mess.
Transport public is also another mess.
The weather is a positive thing about the island
Be careful with the taxi (cab) service, there is no taximeter, and they charge by point to point and it is very expensive.
Food you can get everything with reasonable price

Thank you so much for all this.

I have noticed, that, depending on the forum I am in, answers are different.
I am french, and in the french forum, it is quite pessimistic. In the english one, instead, it is more fun and normal.

May I ask where you came from ?

Anyway, thank you for the precisions about the taxis.

When I come, the touristic season will start to be of the past.
