what do you think of port Glaud?

Hi everyone ! I'm new to this forum and Im thinking of buying a vacation home/ land to build in Port Glaud on Mahe ?
Is this a safe area?
what is the crime rate?
is it safe to leave the house unattended for long periods?

Please let me know what you think of the area, any help appreciated!

Hello,

Yes Port Glaud is a very nice place with a beautiful beach. There is a five star hotel located in Port Glaud. It is safe to live and is very quite as it is far from the town area. If you are leaving the house for long unattended periods it is however safer and advisable to have someone in your home as there are records of theft since the place is quiet.
