I need to go from Kuwait to Bangkok with a cat in the hold as excess baggage. Has anyone used Kuwait Airways with a pet? What was the experience like?

i never happen to take a pet,

get you pet vaccinated,proper cage.some countries jurisdiction require quarantine certificate.

Hi. Answering just in case someone is interested. Travelled in the end with Emirates as Kuwait Airways didn't give me any guarantees re. info, paperwork needed, procedures. Emirates is strict but they are clear. We travelled with them with the cats and it was OK. The price was the same with all companies for pets in the hold: 10KD per kilo inc. carrier. Emirates will require export/import/health papers in order before confirming a booking. This can be done 10 days before travel. They will not carry Persian cats in the summer. If your destination is Dubai, you will have to take your pets as manifest cargo with Emirates skycargo.

Difficult but not impossible! Good luck.
