In the PNL tourist area, Universal Bar is the best place to watch the World Cup is always open 24/7 and is the most dedicated bar for football. I will be watching the World Cup at a new bar called The Orient, 24 Ngo Van Nam, D1. Off Le Thanh Ton. It has the best TV screens and picture quality ...

What I love about VN, when I was here in 2010, even though Vietnam is not playing, the people here always cheer after a goal.  Really cool.

Well i don't know exactly, I have never been there before. I will go there because the team will go there lol and it's our sponsor so i think i should go to Phatty's at least one time haha.

Anyway, fortunately the World Cup have many games and I will try a lot sports bar too lol Thanks For your help ! Write me if you wanna join one day. By the way do you know any bar that broadcast the NBA Finals ???

You can try Game On Saigon which is just a couple minute walking distance from Phattys. Address is 115 Ho Tung Mau D1. In my opinion, way better than Phattys. I wouldn't go to Phattys if the World Cup was actually being held there. Game On is advertising that they will be open 24/7 during the WC.

I agree with Steven. If you are in the backpacking area, you cannot do any better than Universal Sports Bar. Ask for him. Very knowledgeable with sports (even knows college basketball!) and is always down to talk to his customers. Only problem with Universal (sorry Steve), is that you get these drunk backpacking fools that try to play techno/dance music at 5 or 6 am in the middle of a huge sporting event which never happens at the aforementioned 2 bars, but that's the price to pay for being in the backpacking area...

My favorite place to watch events is Red Bar 70-72 Ngo Duc Ke, but they are more of a bar as opposed to a sports bar.

German Community is based at N5
Belgium Community is based at The Orient

So I'm sure Red Bar will be open for the Dutch games ....

Does VN play China?, I'd almost endure this game just to watch that one. ( But it would probably never last until full time? )

I know of Exum very well. Great size for a PG; 6'6. Should enable to him to see the floor very well. I have him going 6th to Boston or 7th to the Lakers. LA needs a PG and no way he gets past them if he makes it that far. I have Smart from OK. State as the first PG taken with the 4th pick. Embiid, Parker, Wiggins, Smart, Vonleh, Exum, and Randle go 1-7 in my opinion.

I'll be going home for work in less than 2 weeks and will be going to the draft while I'm home. The Barclays (where the draft is) is close to my house.

Yes - we got the german television channel by stream via internet with help of a provider. We have to pay for this service. The next match is tomorrow night: Brasil : Germany (wed 09.07. - 03:00 am)
