Best winter month to visit Berlin

Planning on a winter visit for 3 weeks. Appreciate any advice on which month is preferable in terms of events going on in Berlin. Not put-off by weather.

according to me The best winter month is probably February in berlin.

Depends on where your interests lie.

The Berlinale in February, is always interesting. However, if you're into Christmas markets, I'd definitely go in December. I do remember going to a lot of them as a kid and even as a grown up they were interesting. Depending on where you go i.e. which district, you can buy some pretty interesting stuff for yourself and / or souvenirs.

If you speak German or have German-speaking friends, go to zitty.de and check their events, this way you'll get an idea of what's going on when based on your interests.
