Hi Raveen,

I have created a new topic with your post on the Singapore forum in order to give more light to your questions.

Thanks,

yes they are still hiring for a retail jobs,, but nowadays, Singapore is quiet strict in hiring foreigners. So it will still depend on the MOM if they will approved or reject your visa. one of the option also is you can apply with agencies in Singapore so that they will process your application but the agency fee also is quiet higher.. =)

Singapore employers have to, by law, preferentially hire similarly skilled locals.
There are many locals in retail, especially in higher levels (lowly shop assistants are more often foreigners).
Thus you should, in your job applications, focus on your special skills that are rare and in demand in Singapore. I hope you have those, otherwise it will be difficult!

Please do not follow the previous poster's advice to engage agencies who charge you a fee. This is illegal in Singapore (all fees MUST be born by the employer!) and most such agencies are crooks and will cheat you!
