William Smilie

My name is William (Canada, Toronto), I`ve been teaching English as a second language for more than 15 years. Throughout my teaching career in different  countries, such as Canada, Japan, Korea and Russia, I succeeded in developing  a very efficient method which takes into account students` sociocultural background. I use communicative approach which enables my students to use their knowledge, activating both grammar and vocabulary. Special attention is paid to working on pronunciation, idioms and slang, because they are an integral part of modern English language. Using the best modern materials, including most interesting and up-to-date topics from different spheres of our lives is in priority .
