Dog friendly in quito. Help!!

Post new topic

ElCangrikiwi

We arrived yesterday in quito with our service dog only to be turned away from hotels that were listed as dog friendly.

We ended up spending what we expected to be a months rent for two days in the Sheraton.

What we would really like is a small studio to rent for a week or two as we get our bearings.

Can anybody help as we haven't had ANY problem like this in six months of traveling with him from the states.  We are quite taken aback.

Sorry to hear that, both of these are pet friendly, safe & clean until you find a studio apt to get bearings:

Am not there but have been reading EC forum about 18 months. EC not really a pet friendly place. and have read about semi wild dogs just running loose in someplaces Maybe in places with big expat communities-Cuenca for example you might have better luck

I know an American lady who is renting an small place in Tumbaco, if you are interested please send me your email and I will forward to you hers, she will welcome your dog for sure. How big is the dog?, how many people?

Thanks sue

But as you said. You are not here.

And I am not an American.
