Hi Debojyoti646! You should post in the Rio de Janeiro classifieds > job section.

hey there, eh so there are a LOT of purchasing and sales jobs in Brazil (my husband is in purchasing), particularly in the vehicle and materials industries, and being an engineer is usually a bonus. English is ALWAYS a requirement, so you're great there. BUT, remember this is Brazil, and the language is Portugeuse, so even if you work for an American, Chinese, Japanese, British whatever company here, you HAVE to speak Portuguese hands down no way around that. you wouldn't go tot he US not knowing English expecting to work for a company, so it's the same thing here. So, i suggest you spend the next year you have doing an intensive Portuguese language course, then research online for jobs and apply, use a tourist visa to come and see if you actually want to move here and to take your interviews (many big companies will interview you on Skype now though) and then you will have to get your work visa only after you have been hired. good luck!
