Yes of course. And that's a shame! After obtaining of e-residence card I have to change my plates in 20 days term. Then how the Brits suppose to recognize my East European gang's car?  :joking:

Well well well you have certainly showed your true colors ,you assume I read certain newspapers and you also assume I am against all immigrants which I certainly am not against immigration . I am against the romanian gypsys who are causing mayhem in my country by stealing ,urinating in the streets putting their children on the street to beg even after the British government give them homes ,benifits free health care second to none talk about the hand that feeds you .And I will not leave this forum to suit you because as I said the truth hurts Mmmm . Thankfully I do not believe in your stupid superstitions about reincarnation when your dead your dead and only the creator can grant life to you so sorry to disappoint you but I won't be coming back as a gypsey . Do you think our prime minister David Cameron reads the sun and the daily mail as he is fervently trying to stop this culture of something for nothing are you going to tell him you hope he comes back as a gypsey you silly person.  Maximusm

Do you really want me to copy and paste everything you said? In several posts you've generalised countries, cultures and races. You still want me to believe that you are not racist?

Secondly, I don't care what newspapers you are reading, but from what you are writing, your information and education flow seems to be very limited. Forgive me if you don't read the mentioned newspapers :)

What do you mean with showing true colors? I have nothing to hide, where you are clearly trying to back-pedal and hide your true colors.

If you would read my post correctly, you would notice that I said "IF THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH". The emphasis is on "IF". I am not sure what makes you believe that I really believe it myself. The statement is there to try to make you think twice before you make a comment. And once again you proved that you don't accept people with other believes and religions by saying "stupid superstitions about reincarnation". Believe it or not, some people believe in it, but it's hard for you to accept different things.

As I mentioned before, you are free to do what ever you want. To your disappointment It's a free country and you are free to stay on that forum. I was just hoping you won't. But there you go, I was wrong again ;)

Last but not least, reading other comments is not one of your strengths. If you do it, you would notice that so far you are alone with your ignorant views.

And don't call me silly. You know nothing about me!

Hi jeaniecam

are you really sure that you want to relocate to a country where you yourself will be the foreign immigrant? And believe me, in Malta you will always be the 'foreigner' .  Along with all the other foreigners and immigrants ( regular or irregular). You might even find yourself being non-EU soon if the vote goes that way!

Think about it. In Scotland you can point fingers , in Malta they are pointed at you.

Cheers
Ricky

I dont think the scottish will get independence currently polls show only 35% in favour .. but we shall see

jeaniecam

Hi Ricky    I can see what your saying and I do understand the meaning of immigrant .If I were to move to any eu country yes I would then be an immigrant but an immigrant that would not be a burden on any government .i am truly sorry that I have let go of my emotions with regards to the crime in malta as it is happening here in a large way I will refrain from posts reading malt as crime wave ,I know you understand where I am coming from and thank you for your kind comments jean

Hi all,

Just reminding that generalisation on nationalities, race, communities etc are not welcome on Expat.com.
Some comments are really borderline.
We don't want to moderate or move posts but we will keep a close eye and take actions if anything comes against the website's policy.

Thanks

I'm new here. .. after reading through this all, and IF I was going to generalize, and IF Jeaniecam was an indication of current way of thinking, I would NOT want to get anywhere near Scotland  :proud
With that said, it is obvious that when a media starts mentioning nationalities and stuff, people with closed minds starts pointing fingers.
I'm Italian and have been an immigrant in Norway and Ukraine. I have seen criminals and racists of any nationality and always tried to keep both at an arm's length.
Let me conclude by saying that if today we have to stand the presence of political ideas like Ukip is also thanks to the use of media like in the originally posted article.

Hi Martok78, I think your statement is very accurate. Surprised to see these recent posts on this forum which has been a great source of information helping new arrivals. Not sure what exactly was gained out of this particular topic. Welcome to Malta by the way. :)

Martok78

Thank you for the welcome!
See you around maybe!
